Angelface Cascade Pink Summer Snapdragon

Angelonia is a great performer in super hot climates. This self-cleaning beauty with snapdragon-like flowers, requires little to no deadheading and bloom all summer, right up until frost. Angelface Cascade Pink can be used as both a filler or as a cascading addition to your mixed planters. As an added bonus, the small, glossy, green foliage smells faintly of grape soda and the flowers can be used as a long-lasting cut flower.rIf you have a spot in your garden that is very hot, this Angelonia is a great option; not only does this pink blooming plant thrive in the heat, it doesn’t really start to perform until the temperatures are turned up. This beauty originates from South/Central America and can tolerate some drought, or periods of rain. Angelface Cascade Pink is a workhorse in your garden–easily taking on multiple roles in your container plantings with its mounding and cascading habit. It adds wow to your hanging baskets, planters or your landscaping.rAngelface® Cascade Pink Summer Snapdragon CarerPlant Angelonia Angelface Cascade Pink in full sun (6+ hours daily) for best performance. Use an all-purpose, slow release fertilizer when planting in containers and landscape. No further fertilizer is needed in a landscape setting, but feed with a water-soluble flowering plant food every two weeks when planted in baskets or containers.rWhether you are planting this Angelonia in the landscape or in containers, make sure the soil has good drainage and is friable. While Angelonia is fairly drought tolerant, do not let it get to the point of wilting. The lower leaves of the plants will yellow and fall off. Let the soil dry out slightly in between waterings for best results.rAngelface® Cascade Pink Summer Snapdragon SpacingrAngelonia Angelface Cascade Pink reaches a height of 8-14 inches tall and has a spread of 12-30 inches. For best results space plants 10-14 inches apart when planting in beds. Using 3-5 Angelface Cascade plants in a 12 inch planter will result in a full, beautiful container.rrAngelface® Cascade Pink Summer Snapdragon Informationrrrr USDA Hardiness Zones: 10-11rrr Flower Color(s): Pinkrrr Bloom Period: Planting To Frostrrr Foliage Color(s) Greenrrr Light Exposure: Full Sunrrr Height Class: Shortrrr Height: 8-14 Inchesrrr Spread: 12-30 Inchesrrr Spacing: 10-14 Inchesrrr Habit: Mounding, Trailingrrr Watering: Averagerrr Drought Tolerant: Yesrrr Resists: Deerrrr Container Role: Fillerrrr Use Types: Border Plant, Combinations, Container, Groundcover, Hanging Baskets, Landscape, Mass Plantingrrr Features: Cut Flower, Continuous Bloom or Rebloomer, Fragrant, Low Maintenance, Deadheading Not Necessaryrrr Maintenance: Easyrrr Scientific Name: Angelonia hybrid ‘ANCASPI’ USPPAF, Can PBRAFrrr Common Name: Angelface® Cascade Pink Summer Snapdragonrrr Other Name(s):rrr Plant Type: Annualrrr Brand: Proven Winners
