Angelface Super White Summer Snapdragon

Long-blooming good looks on an easy-going, low-maintenance plant? Check. Deer-resistant? Cut flower? Check and check. If these are on your wish list, check out Angelface Super White, an award-winning Angelonia hybrid. Angelface Super White is an upright grower with an unending supply of flowers that look like smaller snapdragons that don’t need deadheading. And, as a fun bonus, the penstemon-like foliage smells like grapes! Angelface Super White will delight in containers, in beds and borders, in the cutting garden, in a moon garden, as a focal point, or as a river of white in a sweeping mass planting. Angelface Super White thrives in the heat and will bloom until frost. Angelface® Super White Summer Snapdragon Care Angelface Super White Angelonias require full sun to be at their best. As heat-lovers, Angelonias should only be planted when the soil is reliably warm, at least mid-spring in most areas. Because of this, they are one of the few plants that don’t mind being planted in the hottest days of midsummer. As far as soil, they will tolerate some drought, and even wet feet. They don’t need much in the way of fertilizer, just some compost or slow-release at planting time in a garden bed is all they require, with occasional reapplications in containers. Angelface® Super White Summer Snapdragon Spacing Angelface Super White can grow up to 40 inches high, and 16 inches wide. Space them from ten to 14 inches apart for optimal growth.Angelface® Super White Summer Snapdragon InformationUSDA Hardiness Zones: 10-11 Flower Color(s): White Bloom Period: Planting To Frost Foliage Color(s) Green Light Exposure: Full Sun Height Class: Tall Height: 30-40 Inches Spread: 12-16 Inches Spacing: 10-14 Inches Habit: Upright Watering: Average Drought Tolerant: Yes Resists: Deer Container Role: Thriller Use Types: Border Plant, Combinations, Container, Landscape, Mass Planting, Specimen or Focal Point Features: Cut Flower, Continuous Bloom or Rebloomer, Fragrant, Low Maintenance, Deadheading Not Necessary Maintenance: Moderate Scientific Name: Angelonia hybrid ‘Ansuwhi’ USPP 29,490, Can 5,768 Common Name: Angelface® Super White Summer Snapdragon Other Name(s): Plant Type: Annual Brand: Proven Winners
