Improve pesticide absorption and control with Brewer 90 10
Brewer 90 10 is a versatile low-foam nonionic wetting, surfactant, and spreading agent that can enhance the effectiveness of various types of pesticides, including herbicides, algaecides, fungicides, insecticides, defoliants, desiccants, and fertilizers. One of its key benefits is that it breaks down the waxy cuticles on leaf surfaces, which allows pesticides to penetrate and be absorbed by the plant more effectively.
Brewer 90 10 can be particularly useful in difficult wetting conditions, such as when foliage is mature and waxy or when using hard water. It is suitable for use in a variety of settings, including agriculture, citrus production, turf, utility rights of way, and aquatic systems.
When used with herbicides containing glyphosate, diquat, triclopyr, 2,4 D, or imazapyr, Brewer 90 10 can improve control of weeds, including those that are typically difficult to manage. Similarly, it can enhance the effectiveness of copper-based algaecides, copper sulfate, and chelated copper when used to control algae. Refer to the pesticide label for proper use rates.
Brewer 90 10 is typically applied using a handheld or backpack sprayer at a rate of 1 to 3 ounces per gallon of spray solution. As with all pesticides, it is important to carefully read and follow the product label instructions before applying.
