(aka: Echinacea ‘Balsomcor’) Echinacea ‘Hot Coral’ comes from the folks at Ball Seed who were breeding to produce a seed strain, but realized that this clone was quite special. For us, Echinacea ‘Hot Coral’ is a vigorous, well-branched, heavily-flowered 2′ tall specimen with flowers that emerge coral, then brighten to near red, creating a nice bicolor effect. We think you’ll really like this one. As with all coneflowers, poorly drained soils in winter are deadly.
