Madame Galen Trumpet Creeper is a fast-growing climbing vine with pinnate glossy dark green leaves that are a duller green underneath and turn yellow in fall. It sports trumpet-shaped flowers that open red-orange and mature to striking red bloom on new growth, attracting bees and butterflies in summer. Blooms best in full sun and well-drained soil. An excellent choice for trellises or pergolas. Very aggressive spreader and drought tolerant.
