Breakers Bearded Iris is a herbaceous semi-evergreen perennial with no bulb, spreading with rhizomes instead and forming a clumping habit. Its long sword-like foliage fans upwards and sturdy stalks that hold the flower heads grow from the center of the plant. The large fragrant ruffled flowers have medium blue standards and falls with matching beards, and bloom from late spring into summer. Prefers partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
