Iris sibirica ‘Blue Pennant’
(Siberian Iris)
A classic McEwen introduction, ‘Blue Pennant’ brings graceful blue coloring and strong garden presence to the Siberian Iris collection. A sister variety to ‘Blue Burgee’, it is noted for yellow coloring in the two branches and generous bloom production, with 5–7 buds per stem.
This tetraploid variety grows to a medium height, making it a good fit for perennial borders, iris collections, and moist garden areas. Its narrow, upright foliage remains attractive after bloom, adding texture and structure through the season.
