(Camellia) There is nothing more elegant than a white blooming Camellia and Just Chill® Double White provides that with its double white flowers that are beautifully contrasted against the thick dark green foliage. This beauty would make the perfect addition to the moon garden, providing fall to winter blooming interest which is so hard to find. Standing 5-8 feet tall and spreading 3-5 feet wide, the upright mounding habit of Just Chill® Double White is perfect as a specimen, planted as a border or hedge. Hardy in zones 7(6b with protection)-9, Camellia does well when grown in moist, well-drained acidic soil in full to part sun locations. Adding a layer of organic mulch is also recommended. If pruning is needed, we recommend trimming after it has bloomed in late winter or early spring. This deer-resistant shrub is evergreen in the southern zones. Camellia Just Chill® Double White is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
