This wonderful Brazilian gesneriad makes a small clump to 8″ tall x 1′ wide. The fuzzy, green, hand-sized leaves form a rosette which is topped from early summer until fall with large, pale yellow flowers, highlighted by cinnamon runway-like streaks to guide pollinators inside the flower. Sinningia conspicua has overwintered nicely for us in well-drained soils and a part-sun site.
