(Scotch Broom) Add a splash of early season color with Sister Rosie® Scotch Broom. Sister Rosie® is a prolific bloomer in the spring featuring deep red flowers with a fine yellow throat on the weeping, wispy stems of green. Standing 3-4 feet tall and wide, Sister Rosie® scotch broom creates a taller upright mounding habit with foliage that weeps over. When the flowers fade, an airy bright green shrub remains, creating interest in the landscape. Great in containers as well as in the landscape, Sister Rosie® grows best in full sun with well drained sandy soil. Hardy in zones 5-8, Sister Rosie® is a deer resistant flowering shrub. Sister Rosie® blooms on old growth and it is recommended to trim as needed after flowering. Cytisus Sister Rosie® is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
