Winter’s Fire Camellia is a small evergreen shrub with a spreading habit and and glossy leaves that stay dark green year-round. The large medium pink flowers with yellow stamen have a spicy fragrance that can bud in summer and bloom in fall, or may hold the bloom until late winter into early spring. The flowers attract butterflies. Best blooms occur in partial sun and acidic, well-drained soil. Can be used as groundcover unless tied to a vertical support.
