The “American Beauty” Dogwood (Cornus florida ‘American Beauty’) is a pink-flowering cultivar of our native Flowering Dogwood. It’s known for its vibrant deep pink to red bracts (what appear to be petals) that bloom in spring, creating a stunning display. Like other dogwoods, it typically grows 15-30 feet tall with a similar spread and features attractive fall color. Grows best with part sun and well-drained soil.
