(Sweet Potato Vine) Check out the new habit of Sweet Potato Vine SWEET CAROLINE UPSIDE™ Key Lime! A truly unique habit, a climbing Ipomoea. Climbing 3-6 feet tall and spreading up to 3 feet wide, SWEET CAROLINE UPSIDE™ Key Lime is a perfect vertical thriller for container combinations or trellis’ in the garden. The bright lime green foliage features deeply serrated leaves that are lightly edged in burgundy depending on the temperatures. Sweet Potato Vines like to be grown in full sun to part sun locations, the more sun they get the bright their coloration. They love heat and humidity, so you may need to protect them if cooler weather is in the forecast. Sometimes Ipomoea can be quite vigorous, we recommend planting with more vigorous plants or trimming some of the growth from time to time as needed. SWEET CAROLINE UPSIDE™ Key Lime Sweet Potato Vine makes a great vine to grow up a trellis to add vertical color and interest to the garden.
